Brindle Cuckoo Walks were first held in the Autumn of 2004 but have been organised in the Spring of subsequent years. They are circular walks from the Community Hall, led by experienced leaders, visiting the beautiful surrounding countryside at a lovely time of the year when the meadows and hedgerows are bursting into life.
Each year we try to vary the routes to make attractive, interesting and safe walks which are suitable for walkers of different experience and ability and they include distances of 3, 6, 9 and 12 miles. The shorter walks are suitable for regular walkers and also walkers in family groups. The three mile walk is designed for youngsters and for those adults who prefer less challenging routes.
Light refreshments are provided mid - way on all the walks and a wholesome hot meal is provided by our dedicated team in the Hall on completion of the walk. To cover the cost of refreshments, administration, insurance, printing and so on, a fee is payable when walkers register.
If you want to register your interest now and did not participate in the previous year, then contact email@example.com with your email address and this will be added to the contact list.
