The Brindle Cuckoo Walks are on again this year, and over 200 people are expected to participate. The walks start at the Brindle Community Hall, and set off over the rolling green farmland around the village, providing an enjoyable day out in the company of other walkers.
In 2017 Cuckoo Walkers covered over 1,300 miles during the day, before demolishing ovens full of hot food and gallons of tea – and raising £950 for Charity.
2018 Dates: Saturday 21st April
Check – in from 9.00 am. Walks start at 10.00 am
This year, walkers of all ages are catered for, with varying levels of walk length to suit the participants. Traversing little known rural footpaths, over stiles and bridges, along the canal towpath, and up cobbled paths, walkers complete their chosen walk distance before eating a nourishing hot meal served by local Brindle volunteers – included in the entry fee.
