Contractors were back on site at the start of November extending the car park. It is part of the Hall’s on-going scheme to improve the surrounding are at the same time provide improved facilities for Hall users.
The work is expected to be finished by the end of November. Following that, the Cubs will be planting shrubs and trees a round the site as part of their community work.
Car park users are asked not to block exits and the road down the side of the building, where extra car parking spaces are available on the old tennis courts. In addition, motorists are reminded that priority is given to those people attending an event in the hall.
People parking on the car park do so at their own risk and the Hall Management Committee have no control over people parking on Water Street or on the public highway.
