A talk by former centre-forward Paul Fletcher added nearly £1000 to our fundraising total.
Paul gave a talk about his football career and his recent work building some of the country's top football stadiums. The evening was hosted by ex-Football League Match Official Steve Williams, who is also the vice Chairman of the hall.

The annual Brindle Cuckoo Walk on Saturday, 6th May attracted a record attendance. 165 people set off from the Community Hall on walks ranging from three to twenty four miles.

The Hall Open Day on Easter Saturday attracted over 400 people, and included an Easter Egg hunt for the children, an Easter Bonnet Parade and exhibitions in the hall on the history of the Community Hall from 1923 to present day.

After just under 5 months of construction, all building work is now finished. The hall passed all relevant inspections and completion papers were signed on the afternoon of 16th March.
All that is left now is to prepare the hall for the public viewing on Easter Saturday, 15th April.
